Born in 1975 in Montélimar and keen on history, Nicolas Coursault was passionate from an early age for the stories of the forgotten, those which weave our roots buried in our collective memories. Philatelist and amateur genealogist, he began studying history before leaving for a gap year.

1996 is the year of the voyages, crossing Australia, traversing Southern Africa and Central America. His short-lived projects range from professorships in Botswana, to peach planters in Costa Rica, to organizer of enduro motorcycle raids, to parachutist in the army ... So many experiences that enrich his horizons.

Having become the father of a little girl, he settled in German-speaking Switzerland to create his first real company, in the construction of swimming pools.

The family grew with four children and the return to the native Drôme was essential. In 2018, he started writing. Witnessing and reviving the sacrificed, the illustrious strangers, these are the common threads of his novels.
